A wheel-thrown handmade ceramic vase, fired to 1230°C in oxidation. The ceramic body was coated with porcelain slip, bisque fired, then finished with water-blue glaze. Glass beads were added around the recessed area below the rim during glaze firing, creating a glossy and refined detail.
The vase is suitable for roses, moth orchids, carnations, lisianthus, and other small floral arrangements. It looks elegant and lovely on a dining table, coffee table, desk, or entryway table.
The base is coated with cashew lacquer to help protect the bottom, reduce water seepage, and make it less likely to scratch the tabletop.
